Furiosa hasn't asked about Dia's pallor yet. Doesn't know if it would be rude; after all, Furiosa is used to desert-dwellers, men and women who spend hours upon hours in baking sun. Her perception of what's normal and what's not may very well be skewed.
Anyway, she thinks the stark almost-white-on-almost-black is kind of pretty.
"It's pretty big," she acknowledges. "Almost a thousand people now. Three buttes, and we've got seven ground-dwellings now. Mostly big tents." Still better than the ex-Wretched had during Joe's rule. They can't feed everyone on the ground much better than starvation rations, but they can keep them watered and sheltered, and that's huge.
The rest will come in time.
"You want to see the rest of the garages? Or the gardens?" Evidently whatever Furiosa was working on can wait.
