There are very, very few people here who wouldn't just assume you were sun-touched if you talked about coming from another world. You just happened to run into the one group that has some experience in crossing dimensions. Lucky you, I guess?"
She smiles a little, amused but trying for reassurance. "Some kind of gateway formed in our mountain. Leads to a Nexus of hundreds of worlds. It can be...complicated, but I'm sure we can find your Material Plane once we can get back there."
It does beg the question of how he got here, if not through the Nexus, but maybe that doesn't matter so much just now.
